Eva Mendes is an American model and actress. Her name was discovered by a talent agent who saw her talent and persuaded her to choose a career in the entertainment industry. After much thought and consideration she decided to leave the university to pursue a career within the entertainment business. Her debut came in the movie Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror and was disappointed with her own performance. The skills she developed in acting were sharpened by appearing in low budget movies. The road to this actor was not easy, but his sheer patience and perseverance were well-rewarded. After the success of Training Day, her career as an actor began to take off.
